Furthermore, also according to Faisal Farooqui, the couple’s trusted aide also went on and confirmed officially that she had been admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar three days ago due to chest congestion. Confirming that she is stable, Farooqui also mentioned that she is ‘under a lot of observation and abundance of precautions’.
Dharmendra who is very close to Saira and Dilip Saab revealed that definitely he had a small talk with Saira on the phone about four days back.
Opening up on same in his recent interview with a leading newspaper publication, he said, “I couldn’t reach her and she had called back. She told me that she has not been keeping well”.
He also shared, “I did not ask too many questions but you can understand how she must be feeling after Dilip Kumar passed away. Sab kuch khaali khaali lag raha hoga (She must be feeling the void)”.
He also mentioned that he would call Saira Banu again while praying for her speedy recovery.
Even Farooqui shared that late Dilip Kumar’s death had taken a toll on her and sharing details on same, he added, “Dilip saab ki death ke baad she suffered a lot of stress, and that has also added to her health struggle. Currently, she is in the ICU, but overall she is stable. She has been advised to rest with other tests and investigation pending”.
Dilip Kumar, one of the biggest superstars Indian cinema has seen, passed away on 7th July due to prolonged illness. Dilip Kumar was married to actor Saira Banu and they had no children.
