Saif Made Exception, Allowed Tandav Shoot Happen In Pataudi Palace

Before the series drops digitally on Amazon Prime Video on 15th Jan 2021 for netizens and audiences, in a recent interview, Saif got candid and opened up about making an exception by allowing Tandav shoot to happen in Pataudi Palace.

While the fans and critics are still raving about the intriguing and powerful trailer of Ali Abbas Zafar’s much awaited political crime thriller drama webseries Tandav which would be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 15th January 2021, a recent interesting scoop of the day is that apparently, Saif made exception, allowed Tandav shoot happen in Pataudi Palace.

Another unknown bit of information behind how the shoot happened in the ancient and ancestral Pataudi Palace is that it was the fact that Saif made exception, allowed Tandav shoot happen in Pataudi Palace.

In a recent interview, spilling more beans on the same, ace Bollywood star opens up on the same where it was true that Saif made exception, allowed Tandav shoot happen in Pataudi Palace.

In his latest interview with a leading indian entertainment tabloid, Saif Ali Khan opened up on how he does not have qualms on giving permission for using Pataudi Palace for shoots, yet this thought also makes him feel nervous. Elaborating more on it, Saif said, “I don’t mind giving it for shoots sometimes because it remains unused 340 days of the year. These days, film crews have become responsible and look after the venues, but [the idea of a shoot being conducted there] still makes me nervous. Usually, I am more comfortable if they are filming around the exterior of the palace. But for Tandav, I made an exception [by shooting inside]”.

Furthermore Saif also explained on how the Pataudi Palace only adds more glamour to the royal feel and look of the series. Saif opening up on same said, “I think it is the palace that lends us the royal look. Anyone standing there would look royal”.

The series also marks the official digital debut of veteran Bollywood / Hollywood star Dimple Kapadia and has an ensemble star cast of Saif Ali Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunil Grover, Gauahar Khan, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias and others in leading roles. It has been produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar. The story of the series has been written by by Gaurav Solanki. Saif will be seen essaying the character of a royal blue blooded crown prince Samar Pratap Singh.
