After teasing everyone’s patience, the filmmaker Karan Johar finally revealed the first-look posters of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh from his upcoming family romantic drama ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
He took to his Instagram handle to unveil the first-look posters for Ranveer and Alia. The posters depict Alia as Rani, “the queen who is here to steal your hearts,” while Ranveer is depicted as Rocky. “
Dharma Production also shared the actors posters to introduce their characters in the movie. “Yaaron ka yaar, rocking in every avatar, aur iss ‘prem kahaani’ ka dildaar – meet Rocky!” Captioned for Ranveer’s character posters.
In one poster, Ranveer can be seen showing off his ripped figure with stylish eyeglasses, a gold chain around his neck, and a nearly bare chest in an animal print shirt. Ranveer Singh appeared in another poster sporting a studded leather jacket.
“Dilon ko dhadkaane aa rahi hai woh – the ‘Rani’ of this ‘prem kahaani’!” Dharma Productions presents Alia’s Rani. Alia can be seen wearing a large nose ring, a black bindi, and a saree.
Following Gully Boy (2019), “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” is Ranver Singh and Alia Bhatt’s second joint project. The movie also stars versatile actors Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Aazmi.
In addition, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks Karan Johar’s return to directing after a seven-year absence (his most recent project was the 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil). Earlier on Wednesday, Karan posted behind-the-scenes videos from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and other projects he has directed. The film is set to hit theatres on July 28.
