The melody queen and India’s Nightingale, Lata Mangeshkar, breathed her last at the age of 92 on February 6, 2022. Even though she passed away, her melodious voice and songs will always remain with us. Lata Mangeshkar tested positive for COVID-19 and underwent treatment for pneumonia at Breach Candy Hospital. Her last rites were performed at Dadar’s Shivaji Park. At her last rites, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood celebrities, and other personalities were present.

Lata Mangeshkar always shares her thoughts no matter what, and there was a time when she and her family got upset with producer Karan Johar and Kiara Advani for using Lata Didi’s song in an orgasm scene in the Lust Stories web series, which was released on June 15, 2018.

Mangeshkar’s family reportedly released a statement stating that they wonder why he (Karan) needed to use a Bhajan-like song sung in the reversed voice of Asia to show his heroine in an organic state. They said he could use any other song. They further said that why did Karan use Lata Ji’s immortal song in such an embarrassing situation? The family member said that we still remember how ecstatic Karan was when Didi recorded the song for the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Showing their disappointment, they said, “It was a dream come true, why turn the dream song into a nightmare now?”

After the June 2018 release of Lust Stories, Kiara Advani gained notoriety. She thereafter received a tonne of work in Bollywood films. Her notable works include Good Newzz, Shershah, Kabir Singh, and many others.
