Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has come out in support of Rhea Chakraborty. Recently, Rhea filed a legal complaint against her neighbor for making false allegations on her to mislead the CBI investigation. Sharing this piece of news on his Twitter handle, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “More power to you Rhea- Nothing is more powerful than TRUTH.”
In the complaint against her neighbor, Rhea mentioned, “The allegation was that the late Sushant Singh Rajput had dropped me to my residence in his car on the 13th of June 2020, which is utterly false.” She also mentioned that this offense has a minimum of 7 years of jail time.
In the past, several celebrities have stood in support of Rhea Chakraborty. Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar, Shibani Dandekar, Vidya Balan amongst others called out the media trails and witch hunt against Rhea.
Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court after she spent almost a month in Byculla jail. She was initially accused of money laundering and abetment to suicide. However, no evidence has been found against her.
