During the grand evening, Kapoor jokingly made a sarcastic request to the show organisers, asking them to only make him dance on slow tracks when the same was demanded to shake his leg on ‘Badtameez Dil’ from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. The Barfi actor expressed “Main aap logon ko ek baat bata du yeh gana 2013 mein release hua tha. Par main jahan bhi jata hu yeh gana mere peeche ata hai. Main abhi 41 years ka hu, mere se nai hota hai abhi yeh sab. Mere back tut jaati hai. Main sab event managers se aaj yeh keh raha hu please yeh gana mat bajwana. Koi slow gana bajwana. (Let me tell you this song released in 2013 and since then it has not left me alone. I am 41 years old now, I cannot dance like that anymore. My back will break. I am requesting all event managers to please not play this song. Play some slow song instead.).”

Animal- directed by the Kabir Singh fame filmmaker ‘Sandeep Reddy Vanga’ is slated for a Pan-India release in 5 languages including ‘Hindi’, ‘Tamil’, ‘Telugu’, ‘Kannada’ and ‘Malayalam’ on December 1st. The action thriller will also clash with ‘Meghnna Gulzar’s’ dream directorial autobiographical based on ‘Field Marshal’ Sam Manekshaw’s Life ‘Sam Bahadur’; setting the box office and silver screens at fire.
