Their daughter, Raha, turned one on November 6, and the proud parents spared no effort to ensure her first birthday was celebrated in style. The occasion was filled with close friends and family members who gathered to share the special moment.
Among the attendees were Alia Bhatt’s mother, Soni Razdan, her sisters Shaheen and Pooja Bhatt, and her father, renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. The Kapoor family was also well-represented, with Ranbir’s mother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, gracing the festivities with her presence.
To capture the cherished moments of the day, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account and shared pictures from the birthday celebration. In one photo, little Raha can be seen gleefully smashing a cake, her face lit up with excitement. Another picture portrays the trio holding flowers, hinting at a religious puja conducted at their residence as part of the celebration.
Alia’s heartfelt caption for the post read, “Our joy, our life… our light! It feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away… there’s nothing to say, only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives… you make every day feel like a full, creamy, yummy, delicious piece of cake. Happy birthday, baby tiger… we love you more than love itself.”
The birthday menu featured an array of delectable dishes, as revealed by the couple’s private chef, Harsh Dixit, on his Instagram stories. Guests were treated to favorites such as fries, ribbon sandwiches, and Brie chili cheese toast, making it a culinary delight for all in attendance.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who tied the knot in April, 2022, have been enjoying their journey of parenthood, with Raha being a precious addition to their lives.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to return to the big screen with the action thriller ‘Animal.’ He will be seen alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in the film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, scheduled for release on December 1.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is preparing for her next film, ‘Jigra,’ directed by Vasan Bala, which is set to hit theaters on September 27, 2024.
