Following its theatrical release, audiences eagerly anticipated the digital release of the film. Yesterday, the makers delighted fans by unveiling a new promo and revealing that ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ will be released on the digital platform Zee5. The film is set to premiere on May 17, 2024, and will be available in both Hindi and Telugu languages simultaneously.

Sudipto Sen’s film, Bastar: The Naxal Story is actually based on and inspired by the real-life story and events surrounding the Naxals in Chattisgarh. The Bastar rebellion, which erupted in 1910, unfolded in what is now Chattisgarh.
Directed by “The Kerala Story” filmmaker, Sudipto Sen, the Bollywood crime drama, Bastar: The Naxal Story was released in the theatres on 15 March 2024. Bastar: The Naxal Story stars “The Kerala Story” fame Adah Sharma in the lead role. Apart from her the film also stars Yashpal Sharma, Naman Jain, Indira Tiwari, and Shilpa Shukla.
