Raj Babbar On His Son, Prateik Babbar’s Struggles “Aisa Vakt Aaya Tha jab Usne Pareshan Kiya Tha”

The veteran actor Raj Babbar talked about his son Prateik Babbar 's struggle by saying that he is there and he is doing everything.

Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, the son of Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, both of whom were prominent personalities in the Indian film industry. Although his journey has been very difficult, the actor has been struggling, particularly dealing with the loss of his mother, Smita Patil, and his battle with substance abuse. While speaking with Rajshri Unplugged, the veteran actor talked about Prateik’s struggle by saying that he is there and he is doing everything. He is very sincere in his work. Bich mein aisa vakt aaya tha jab usne pareshan kiya tha aur khud bhi pareshan raha tha ab usne apne aap ko iss tarah se mould kiya hai. God is very kind.

To note, Smita Patil passed away when Prateik was just a few months old, and he grew up without her presence. This loss had a profound impact on his life, and he has spoken about how it affected him emotionally and psychologically.

Apart from coping with the loss of his mother, Prateik has also been candid about his battle with substance abuse. He has openly discussed his struggles with addiction and the challenges he faced in overcoming it. Prateik sought help and underwent rehabilitation to address his addiction issues and has since been vocal about the importance of seeking support and treatment for mental health and addiction problems.

Prateik Babbar made his acting debut in the 2008 film “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na,” where he gained recognition for his supporting role. He later appeared in movies like “Dhobi Ghat,” “Aarakshan,” “Ekk Deewana Tha,” and “Mulk,” showcasing his acting talent and versatility.
