Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s daughter, ‘Raha Kapoor’, turns a year old today on November 6. Today is her first birthday and her grandmothers have expressed their joy through their Instagram stories. Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Singh Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan celebrate a year of being ‘Dadi’ and ‘Nani’ respectively.
Neetu Kapoor shared an instagram story about Raha’s birthday. She wrote, “And just like that she turned 1. Happy Birthday my precious doll Raha. We love you to the moon and back.” She also reshared the story of Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan. Soni Razdan posted on a story saying, “Seems like just yesterday that you came into our world. Can’t believe it’s already been a whole year. Happy Birthday Darling Raha, Happy Birthday to you.”
Alia shared a special post for her beloved daughter. She shared a picture of her hands holding flowers and touching the cake. She captioned the post saying, “Our joy, our life.. our light! It feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away. There’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives.. you make everyday feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake. Happy birthday baby tiger .. we love you more than love itself.” Alia’s emotional post says that she is blessed to be the mother of this little princess.
Alia, Ranbir and their family, none of them have shared a single image of Raha till date. Even Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan haven’t shared Raha’s photo in the story, instead they have put text only. As Ranbir and Alia want it to be minimal, there seem no grand plans for Raha’s birthday. It will be a close family function. Alia and Ranbir started dating each other in 2017. They got married in April 2022 and baby Raha came on November 6, 2022.
When it comes to starkids, they always get attention, but not every time this attention is good for starbabies. Rather, nowadays, Bollywood couples have started keeping their kids completely private and isolated from their professional life. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also kept their baby daughter ‘Vamika’ away from the camera’s flash.
In the same way, Alia shared a reason why they are not revealing Raha’s face. Talking to Hindustan Times she said, “I don’t want it to seem like I am hiding my daughter. I am proud of her. If the cameras were not rolling right now, I would put a giant image of her on the screen. I love her. I am proud of our baby. But we are new parents. We don’t know how we feel about her face splashed out all over the internet.”
Thus, the couple will not share Raha’s photos so soon.
