Chup: Revenge Of The Artist starring sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, and Pooja Bhatt in pivotal roles got a release date. The motion poster of the psychological thriller unveiled today is intriguing and promises the movie to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Helmed by ace director R Balki, Chup will release on 23rd September 2022.
Chup: Revenge Of The Artist marks the comeback of Dulquer Salmaan to Hindi movies after The Zoya Factor. With this movie, Sunny Deol will also return to big screens after Blank. Amitabh Bachchan will make his debut as a music composer in Chup. He has created the end title track of the movie.
The makers unveiled the motion poster of Chup today announcing the release date. The teaser of the film was released on Guru Dutt’s birth anniversary on 9th July. it is just a motion poster but hair-raising. It features Dulquer singing Sar Jo Tera Chakraye song in the background while furious Sunny Deol shouts Chup. In end, the last slide read in cinemas 23rd Sept.
Fans are getting crazy over the announcement and can’t wait for the movie to release. Dropping comments on the Dulquer’s post Mrunal Thakur wrote “Release FAST FAST….” while filmmaker Rosshan Andrrrews wrote, “All the best dear DQ… waiting for this content driven film.” Fans have dropped hearts popped eyes emoji and fire-lit emojis in the comment section.
Chup is hailed as a tribute to legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt who died at the early age of 39 on 10th October 1964. The movie is the most ambitious project of R Balki to date. He had thought of this romantic psychopath thriller after Cheeni Kum. R Balki is known for his originality in storytelling, and for presenting unexplored themes in a commercial format.
The story is originally written by R Balki and co-written the screenplay and dialogues with Raja Sen, and Rishi Virmani. The film is directed by R Balki and produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, and Gauri Shinde.
