Pulkit Samrat Reveals Police Pulled Him Over Multiple Times On Drunk Driving Suspicion

With a chuckle, Pulkit mentioned that he assured the officer that he had never consumed alcohol in his life, eliminating any doubts about his sobriety.

Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat recently reminisced about his early days in Mumbai, shedding light on some humorous encounters with the city’s police force. During a recent interview with Mashable, Pulkit shared some entertaining anecdotes about his experiences.

Pulkit revealed that upon moving to Mumbai from Delhi, he was overwhelmed, surprised, and shocked all at the same time. The transition to the bustling city was undoubtedly a memorable one for the actor.

One particular memory involved his first car in Mumbai, a striking red sedan with tinted windows and a unique ‘500’ number plate. Pulkit mentioned that he loved playing loud music in his car, but this choice of style led to some amusing encounters with the Mumbai police. According to him, the car gave off a “Delhi ki gaadi lag rahi thi” vibe, which attracted the attention of law enforcement.

Pulkit humorously recounted how he was stopped by the police three times in a single day at three consecutive checkpoints in Mumbai. Each time, the officers suspected he was drunk-driving due to the way his car appeared. He cooperated with the police at the first two checkpoints but, at the third, he decided to clear up the misunderstanding. Pulkit requested the officer to test him to prove that he wasn’t under the influence of alcohol and asked the officer to convey this message to the upcoming checkpoints.

With a chuckle, Pulkit mentioned that he assured the officer that he had never consumed alcohol in his life, eliminating any doubts about his sobriety. Remarkably, the message was relayed to the following checkpoints, and Pulkit’s car was allowed to proceed without further interruptions.

On the professional front, Pulkit recently appeared in the film “Fukrey 3,” which enjoyed considerable success among audiences, grossing over Rs 100 crore globally. The movie also stars Richa Chadha and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles, making it a significant milestone in Pulkit’s career.
