The much-awaited film that’s been making buzz on social media since its release with the first look of Prabhas has been titled Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the makers today revealed the official title with the highly promising Project K glimpse video, which was launched at the prestigious San Diego event as well as on Social Media. Undoubtedly, the first glimpse of Kalki 2898 AD suggests that Indian film audiences are in for a never-before-seen experience.
The unique and intriguing first look video of Kalki 2898 AD reveals that the epic fantasy film revolves around a dark, destructive world that is set in the future. The protagonists, played by Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, are seen working hard to fight evil and save their world, which is futuristic yet reminiscent of the medieval ages with its aesthetics.
The film will also star legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, senior actor Pasupathi, and several other cast members who were also seen in the first glimpse video of Project K, aka Kalki 2898 AD.
However, we don’t get to see Kamal Hasan in this glimpse video, who reportedly plays the lead antagonist in Nag Ashwin’s film, which is still under wraps. Disha Patani, who also played a pivotal role, was not seen in the video.
