Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is constantly receiving backlash on social media for a variety of reasons. The mythological action film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan released in theatres on June 16; since then, the entire team of the film has been the target of netizens for many reasons, including poor VFX and dialogues. Amidst facing so much criticism, something else is going on in Raut’s mind as he is excited to watch Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
Recently, it was reported that Nitesh’s Ramayana will star Bollywood’s Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, and the makers are reportedly approaching Yash for Ravan’s role. The film will hit theatres in December 2023.
Recently, speaking with India Today, Om said that he is looking forward to Nitesh’s Ramayana. He called Tiwari’s writing and directions “phenomenal.
Om further added that as many films as there are on Ramayana, Prabhu Shri Ram, and everything on Rama, he thinks we all root for that film or any other film that is being made.
