The two can apparently be seen together on screen for the very first time in “Ek Villain 2”, shooting of which has already begun. The multi starrer film also casts Disha Patani and John Abraham.
2. Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan
While the two have been rumored to be dating a film together for the longest, it’s finally on the cards! Fans are enthralled to see Deepika and Hrithik together that too in a never seen before avatar. Apparently, the movie is suggested to be India’s first aerial action franchise. The title of the film is alleged to be ‘Fighter’ while the movie is directed by ‘War’ director Siddharth Anand. An excited Deepika was seen sharing the first look of the film, captioning it as ‘Dreams do really come true.
3. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur
The “Jersey” fame actress’s upcoming movie “Pippa” is all set to release this year alongside Aditya, shooting of which has already been wrapped up. It also casts Sonai Razdan and Ishaan Khattar in interesting roles. The movie is said to be based on the book “The biting chaffes”, it’s a heroic tank battle film that underlines the bravery of the war veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron who fought on the Eastern front during the Indo-Pak war of 1971, which led to the liberation of India’s neighbor Bangladesh.
4. Varun Dhawan and Jahnavi Kapoor
The two have teamed up for Nitish Tiwari’s next project. The film is suggested to be an entertaining love story, more information about the plot of the film is kept under wraps for now. The title of the film is also unidentified at the moment, while both the actors will only begin with the shoot after the completion of their ongoing projects.
5. Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar
The movie ‘Badhai Do’ is set to release on Republic Day this year, supposedly a sequel to the national award-winning hit “Badhaai Ho”. While Rajkumar Rao can be seen helming the character of a police officer, Bhumi can be seen playing a PT teacher.
