Nawazuddin Siddiqui And His Family Quarantined After Reaching UP

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family have been put in home quarantine after reaching Muzaffarpur, Uttar Pradesh. Read below to know more.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui alongside his family reached their hometown in Uttar Pradesh after obtaining the appropriate permission to travel in the midst of the nationwide lockdown. Nawaz and his family reached Muzaffarpur to celebrate Eid. They reached there on May 11 and have been put in home quarantine till May 25.

Reports state that their samples were taken to test them for COVID-19, and Nawaz and his family have tested negative. They have put into mandatory isolation as per the guidelines issued by the government to curb the spread of the virus. They all are currently staying at home for 14-days which is the minimum requirement for self-isolating oneself.

On the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be next seen in Ghoomketu. Helmed by Pushpendra Nath Misra, the movie is comedy-drama and the plot of the same revolves around an inexperienced writer struggling to make it big into the entertainment industry in Mumbai.

The teaser of Ghoomketu was released on May 15 and it is being acknowledged by the audiences. The film will eventually skip its theatrical release as the theatres across the nation are shut down owing to the nationwide lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking of Ghoomketu, it will release on Zee5 on May 22, 2020.

Recently, post Irrfan Khan’s sudden demise, Nawaz opened up about his rivalry with the late actor. The Gangs of Wasseypur actor confessed that the rivalry between him and Irrfan was media made and none of it was true.
