Mrunal Thakur established her presence in the industry through television. Before breaking into Bollywood, she appeared in the television show Kumkum Bhagya and in advertisements. She then made her way to the big screen with her Hindi debut, Love Sonia. She won millions of hearts as Sita Mahalakshmi in her 2022 Telugu film Sita Ramam, in which she co-starred with Dulquer Salmaan. However, the actress recently came under fire from the trolls for wearing a bikini and was accused of spoiling her image.
Mrunal took to her Instagram handle to share her outing photos. She looked stunning in a blue bikini, enjoying the beach. She also posted random photos of places and yummy food. She looked attractive in the photos as she posed for the camera without makeup, allowing the lens to capture her natural beauty. But some of her Sita Ramam fans are angry with her for her bikini look and are saying that this is not our Mahalakshmi.
Reacting to her look, one user wrote, “The one and only heroin I don’t want to see in bikini is Mrunal ….but finally u breaked it…” Second user wrote, “Sitarama movie dekh k isko follow kiye the soche ye bahut acchi hoga lekin ye bhi.” The third user wrote, “You are soo beautiful in SAREE not in bikini . You cuteness see in saree not in bikini. There nothing requirement to post in bikini.” One more user wrote, Mrunal should really apologize like how can she wear a BIKINI that too at a BEACH!!!!!! Should’ve wore a saree or something.
But these trolls should also understand that she has done the same with the dress of the location. And her fans are because of her talent and not because of her outfit. Some of her real fans came in her support and replied to the trollers. One fan wrote, “To all the people here it’s not sita. SITA IS FRICTIONAL, MRUNAL IS REAL. and what’s wrong with wearing a bikini? Sita ‘s character was from 90’s and this is 2023 for god sake grow up. She cannot wear saree at a beach.” Another user wrote, “People really need to understand that a person has to dress according to the place she’s in beach she cannot wear saree.”
