Brahmastra: Mirzapur fame actor Divyenndu Sharma was recently rumored to have been a part of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Brahmastra. However, dismissing the rumors the actor has finally opened up about the matter and said, “It’s fake news” meanwhile he also hinted about the possibility of being a part of the second installment in the film.
Divyenndu Sharma Aka Munna Bhaiya Opens Up On Being A Part Of Brahmastra
Divyenndu Sharma aka the Munna bhaiya of Mirzapur has recently addressed the rumors of him being a part of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Brahmastra. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan Mirzapur actor Divyenndu Sharma was asked about working with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. Responding to this the actor laughed and said, “It’s fake news. I don’t understand how my name is there on their Wikipedia page.”
Hinting at the possibilities for his appearance in the second installment of the film, Divyenndu said, “Maybe for a sequel. I don’t deny but not for this one. I never had a meeting for this film and we never talked about it. I am really hoping that they don’t add my name to the film’s credit. People will say that ‘it’s really bad that they cut your role in the film.”
Divyenndu Sharma is known for his roles like Munna bhaiya in Mirzapur, Nishant aka Liquid in Pyar Ka Punchnama, Narayan Sharma in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and others. The actor last appeared in Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha as Narayan Sharma, He was also seen essaying the role of Sundar Tripathi in the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Munna Bhaiyya in the very popular Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur.
