The shooting of many ventures came to an indefinite halt due to the lockdown imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now with the unlock process underway, the entertainment industry is slowly getting on its feet. The production process of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also was put on hold amid the lockdown. The makers of the film had initially planned to shoot the film in Lucknow. However, after thinking through, they decided to shoot the movie in Mumbai. But as per the latest reports, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are struggling to find space to build a set in Mumbai.
As per the report by Mid-Day, the plots that makers are aiming for are already booked for other projects.
The director of the film Anees Bazmee said, “It’s not easy to get a property in October to build a set because many producers are kicking off new projects.”
However, the filmmaker hopes to complete the 15-day shoot once they finalize the shoot location. Bazmee further adds that they are planning to shoot most of the indoor portions of the film in the city.
The source close to the development reveals that once the makers finalize the shoot location, a set will be built. The set is a replica of a haveli, like the one they created in Lucknow.
According to the source, the cast and the crew of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 might head to Lucknow for a few outdoor shots that are necessary.
Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it is a sequel of the 2007 Akshay Kumar starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The prequel also starred Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja.
On the work front, apart from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan also has Dostana 2 in his kitty.
