Music Maestro Pankaj Udhas passed away on February 26, 2024. The “Chitthi Aayee Hai” singer’s death was a shock to the entire film industry. He died due to prolonged illness. Many artists from the Bollywood film industry expressed their condolences to the Ghazal singer, Pankaj Udhas. Sonu Nigam, Anup Jalota, Anu Malik, Manoj Bajpayee, Madhuri Dixit and many others posted on social media about his sad demise.
Today, March 2, there is a ‘Prayer Meet’ in loving memory of Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas. His daughter posted about this prayer meeting on her Instagram handle. This prayer meeting is going on at the Trident Hotel, Nariman Point. This 2 hour-long meeting will be truly emotional for his family and his close friends.
He died on 26th Feb at 11 am in Breach Candy Hospital. His daughter Nayaab Udhas was informed about her father’s death through social media. On the next day, his last rites took place at the Hindu Crematorium Worli.
