LIVE: Pankaj Udhas’ Last Rites At Hindu Crematorium Worli, Left Behind His Memorable Legacy

Pankaj Udhas died on February 26 at 11 am and his last rites are taking place at Hindu Crematorium in Worli today.

Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas died on February 26. He was admitted to Breach Candy hospital, and he died due to prolonged illness. His daughter Nayaab informed about this through social media. His demise has made everyone emotional. Listening to his songs feels like nostalgia. This legend left the world but has left behind his legacy of mesmerizing songs.

As per informed by the Udhas family, last rites are taking place today, on February 27 between 3-5 pm in Mumbai. Many Bollywood celebrities, his industry friends and family gathered for his last rites at the Hindu Crematorium in Worli. Preparations for the last rites took place at his home Hill Side.

Many legends from the music industry and even PM Narendra Modi expressed their condolences to this music maestro, Pankaj Udhas. Narendra Modi tweeted and conveyed his grief over this loss. Singer Sonu Nigam said that he had lost an important part of his childhood. Anu Malik wrote on his social media that “We have lost a shining star and a gem of a human being”. His friend Anup Jalota and other industry stars, including Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Manoj Bajpayee and many others expressed their condolences to Padmashree Pankaj Udhas.
