KWK 8: Karan Johar Recalls His Ugly Fights With Kareena & Kajol

In the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Karan Johar recalled about his fallout with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kajol.

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is popular for his friendship and bonds with Bollywood celebs. From Shah Rukh Khan to Farah Khan and Alia Bhatt, the director shares a very close bond with many stars in the industry. However, there have been times when Karan had a very ugly fallout with some of his friends in the industry.

Karan Johar On His Fight With Kareena

Talking about the same, in the third episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Karan opened up about the times when he had an ugly fallout with his BFFs Kajol and Kareena Kapoor Khan. For the unversed, Karan Johar once had a very controversial fight with Kareena, during the making of his film, Kal Ho Naa Ho. Back in the day, the filmmaker went on the public platform to slam her, the two didn’t talk to each other for almost 2 years.

Addressing the same, Karan revealed how he reconciled with Kareena after his father’s death. Karan stated that Kareena was in Bangkok at the time when his father passed away. Although at that time the two had not mended their issues, however, Kareena came to his home right after she landed from her shoot.

Talking about their reconciliation Karan added, “We spent all night just chatting. We went back to where we were. When we fought, I said I was never going to speak with her again.”

Karan Johar On His Fight With Kajol

Apart from Kareena, Karan also opened up about his fight with Kajol and how he mended his relationship with her. Karan said that the same thing happened with her and they had an ugly fight with each other. However after the birth of his kids Roohi and Yash, Karan revealed that he took the initiative and messaged Kajol and sent her pictures of his children.

Karan said, “I said you (Kajol) don’t need to reply, but these are what my children look like, Yash and Roohi. She messaged back and said, ‘I am just full of love right now’. A month later, she said, ‘It’s my birthday, you don’t have to come, but I went. We hugged, we cried, and it was done”.

Meanwhile, now the filmmaker shares a very close bond with both Kareena and Kajol. The director had collaborated with the two actresses for films like, My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and others.
