Kamal Rashid Khan, also known as KRK, a self-proclaimed film critic who has always courted controversy with his remarks. Recently, KRK made predictions about the first-day collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan. According to him, the film is a south masala film and he expects it to collect around Rs 50 crore on its opening day.
In his latest statement, the former actor said, “Watched the trailer of #Jawan! This trailer is proof that the film Jawan is going to be huge and 100% full of south style. Around 80% of the film will be reliant on VFX. As a result, #SRK looks like a 30-year-old Launda. Director #Atlee has made a masala film like he does in the south. The film will have a 50 crore opening.”
However, this prediction did not sit well with netizens, and they started trolling him. One user wrote, “In my opinion, this movie will easily collect 55 to 60 crores in the Hindi language alone, and with an additional 30 crores from the South, the total collection will be 75 to 80 crores. Just wait and watch, Jawan will be the biggest film of the year. Mark my words.”
Another user commented, “It’s not 100% full of South style. In South films, they shake the ground with their stunts and even fly cars. That’s not present in this film.”
One more user expressed, ” Abe jhuta insaan fir kyu bola flop hogi. Preview dekne ke baad bol deta. Apna hi kuch chalata rahta hai. Ab bol 50 cr day 1 ka.”
Speaking about Jawan, the film’s preview garnered millions of views on social media and received appreciation from all corners. This is not the first time KRK has made such outrageous statements; he has previously criticized many other films.
