Amid all the controversy and backlash, Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Sita, recently shared a cryptic post, focusing on the cheers and praises. But people are continuing to criticise the film and the cast. Now Kriti’s mother, comes forward to support her daughter’s film, Adipurush.
Kriti Sanon’s mother, Geeta Sanon, took to her Instagram handle on June 21, 2023, and shared a cryptic post that hinted at her support of her daughter’s recently released mythological film Adipurush. The note written in Devanagari conveys the fact that one should not judge anything by its external appeal only, but rather one should introspect and respect its feelings. In the end of her note, she wrote, “Insaan ki galtiyon ko nahi uski bhavnaonko samjho. Jai Shree Ram!”

Recently, Kriti Sanon and Om Raut were criticised for kissing on the premises of Tirupti temple. A video surfaced online when the crew was in Tirupati to promote Adipurush. As they were exiting the temple after darshan, Om Raut gave Kriti Sanon a kiss on the cheek.
Adipurush is now facing a boycott trend on social media. People are upset with the “Islamification” and “glamourization” in the film.
