Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil Box Office Collection Day 1: Film Takes A Strong Start

Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Malayalam film, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil has registered a strong opening at the box office.

Prithviraj Sukumaran stars in the lead role in the Malayalam film “Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,” which hit theaters on May 16. Directed by Vipin Das and written by Deepu Pradeep, the comedy-drama also features Nikhila Vimal, Anaswara Rajan, Basil Joseph, and Yogi Babu.

With an impressive first-day box office performance, early estimates indicate that the film earned over Rs 3 crore in India. As per Sacnilk.com, the film earned a total ₹ 3.65 Cr on its opening day. The Malayalam had an occupancy rate of 42.20% on May 16, 2024. Morning and afternoon shows had a 32.35% and 31.07% occupancy respectively, while evening shows reached 49.06%. The night shows had the highest attendance at 56.32%.

The film’s opening day collection is higher than the recently released Bollywood film, “Srikanth” and Tamil film “Star”. However, the film still failed to beat Prithviraj Sukumrana’s recent film “Aadujeevitham” which earned Rs 7Cr on its opening day.
