Previously, reports surfaced indicating that Priyadarshan had approached Saif Ali Khan for their upcoming film, where Saif would portray a blind character. However, no official confirmation has been made yet. Now, there’s a new development, reportedly Bobby Deol is also in discussions with Priyadarshan, reportedly for the role of an antagonist.
“Bobby loved what he heard, especially the fact that the narrative around his character is full of twists and turns. While he plays the baddie on the face of it, the character serves as a parallel lead to Saif Ali Khan. Bobby has his date diary blocked for the next 6 months; however, he has bought a couple of weeks to see if he can allot 30 days to Priyadarshan for this thriller. He has loved the script and is going out of his way to get the logistics sorted.” a source revealed to Pinkvilla.
“Priyadarshan is excited to bring this story to the Hindi-speaking audience, and the casting is underway. If everything falls in place, the thriller will take off before his fantasy comedy with Akshay Kumar,” disclosed the source. Shooting is expected to commence in July and wrap up by August.
Saif Ali Khan’s Upcoming Films
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Om Raut’s film, “Adipurush”. He is currently gearing up for his South debut with Jr NTR starrer “Devara” which will also feature Janhvi Kapoor.
Bobby Deol’s Upcoming Films
On the other hand, Bobby Deol who was last seen in Animal, will next be seen in Suriya starrer “Kanguva” which will also mark the South debut of the actor. Apart from this he also has “Humraaz”, “Housefull 5”, “Apne 2” and others.
