Case Filed Against Allu Arjun For Violating Poll Code Of Conduct

Allu Arjun and YSRCP MLA Reddy faced accusations of permitting a significant public gathering at the MLA's residence.

As per the latest reports, a complaint has been lodged against Allu Arjun for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct while campaigning for the YSRCP. The actor could potentially face legal consequences for this breach during the current Lok Sabha elections.

According to a report by Times Now, Allu Arjun and YSRCP MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy have been accused of allowing a large gathering outside the MLA’s residence despite the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) being in effect. Allegedly, the MLA invited the actor without obtaining permission from the Returning Officer (RO) of Nandyala for such a crowd gathering.

On May 11, a video went viral showing Allu Arjun waving at the crowd while campaigning for YSR Congress candidate Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. The actor was surrounded by enthusiastic fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of him. Allu Arjun, accompanied by his wife Sneha Reddy, folded his hands, smiled, and greeted his fans.

During the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), extensive campaigns are prohibited 48 hours prior to the commencement of polling. Voting in constituencies in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled for May 13th.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is set to appear alongside Rashmika Mandanna in “Pushpa 2.” Directed by Sukumar, the final phase of shooting for the film is presently in progress. Alongside Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna plays a leading role in the movie.

There are talks that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might make a cameo appearance in “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” while Sanjay Dutt is also expected to have a special role in the film. Scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, the movie is highly anticipated.
