KL Rahul Reveals Athiya Shetty’s Superstitious Habits When He’s Batting, Here’s What She Does

Beyond the superstitions, Rahul sheds light on Athiya's emotional investment in his career. Recalling a time when he faced an injury.

In the world of Bollywood, the spouses of cricketers often find themselves under intense scrutiny whenever their partners encounter a rough game. Anushka Sharma’s experiences stand as a classic example. Joining this league is Athiya Shetty, the Mubarakan actress, who, as the wife of cricketer KL Rahul, faces the social media radar but remains unfazed by the faceless judgments.

Despite the relentless trolling, Athiya stands her ground, indifferent to the online criticisms. Contrary to Harbhajan Singh’s dismissive remarks about women’s knowledge of cricket, Athiya showcases a keen understanding of her husband’s game.

In an interview reported by Indian Express, KL Rahul discloses Athiya’s penchant for superstitions whenever he’s on the cricket field. He shares, “She has a lucky spot at home. So, she wants to sit there. You know how partners can be, they have their lucky positions, their lucky seats. They want to sit there and watch it. She’ll not move when I’m batting. She has certain superstitions when I am playing.”

Beyond the superstitions, Rahul sheds light on Athiya’s emotional investment in his career. Recalling a time when he faced an injury, he mentions, “She was more frustrated and angry than I was. I found myself trying to keep her calm as it was the first time she was seeing me go through something like this.” During this challenging period, Athiya stood by him, providing the essential love and support needed.

Their intimate wedding at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Mumbai’s Lonavala sealed their bond. The couple often captivates fans with glimpses of their affectionate moments, leaving admirers in awe of their undeniable chemistry.
