Kartik Aaryan and Deepika Padukone are currently hogging the limelight as pair. The duo doesn’t miss a chance of commenting on each other’s Instagram posts and recently even Deepika joined Kartik’s Dheeme Dheeme challenge and shook her legs on the beats of the song. Their fans were really quick to notice Kartik and Deepika’s bonding and stormed the internet with their wish to witness them both sharing the screen space, but it seems like their wish might just be granted.
Kartik is currently busy in the promotions of Imtiaz Ali’s much-awaited film Love Aaj Kal alongside Sara Ali Khan. During a recent interview, the ace director was asked that if he has any plans to come with a venture to star Deepika and Kartik.
To this, Imtiaz Ali spilled the beans with a ray of hope to all their fans and said, “There is nothing I have spoken to her (Deepika Padukone) about, but hopefully, something will happen.” The filmmaker has already enchanted his audience by casting Deepika in Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Tamasha (2015), and fans now can’t wait for him to come up with another project to cast DP.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is all praises for Kartik Aaryan. She said “He will do whatever it takes to be successful, and be at the top of the game. Interestingly he isn’t apologetic about it and I love that about him.” She further added that she saw the Dheeme Dheeme Challenge and wasn’t able to do that step, so she messaged Kartik asking, “Can you please teach me this step because I am really bad!”
On the work front, Kartik is gearing up for Dostana 2 and Bhul Bhulaiya 2. On the other hand, Deepika is all set to play Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife in Kabir Khan’s sports-drama ’83.
