What! Kareena Kapoor Wanted To Be A Lawyer Not An Actres

Kareena Kapoor wanted to become a lawyer, not an actress, she even applied to the government college, but after seeing the size of the books, she changed her mind.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is undoubtedly an excellent actress. She made her Bollywood debut in the 2000 drama Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan, for which she earned a Filmfare Award For Best Female Debut. After that, in her career spanning, she played a variety of roles and parts in many hit films. But very few people would know that before entering the film industry, Bebo wanted to become a lawyer. Even she joined the Goverment Law College in Churchgate, Bombay.
The actress recently made this surprising revelation.

The Jab We Met actress revealed to Film Companion that she altered her mind only after taking five days of law school. After seeing the size of the books, she decided that this was not for her. According to a comment from Kareena, “I did try to sign myself up at the government law college. I did go for 5 days. When I saw the size of the books, I was like, I don’t think this is for me. So, I did keep that option open of wanting to be a lawyer. I don’t know what I was thinking! But I can’t even imagine myself not being in front of the camera.”

Talking about her upcoming projects, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Hansal Mehta’s untitled drama. The project also marks the actress’s debut as a producer. Along with this, she will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X.
