Kangana Ranaut Trolled For Visiting Gurdwara Before Lock Upp Trailer Launch

Twitter users criticize Kangana Ranaut as she visited Bangla Sahib Gurdwara ahead of the trailer launch of Lock Upp.

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and producer Ekta Kapoor visited Bangla Sahib Gurdwara in Delhi ahead of the trailer launch of their upcoming reality show, Lock Upp. Several pictures and videos surfaced online where they can be seen taking blessings.

Kangana Ranaut wore a navy blue suit and covered her head with a matching dupatta. Ekta Kapoor opted for an off white suit. As soon as the pictures went viral, Kangana became a target of trolls once again. While Kangana was entering the Gurdwara and posing for the media, she was seen without her head properly covered. A Twitter user pointed it out as he wrote, “sir dhakla bibi (Cover your head, sister).

Another Twitter user called out Kangana by tweeting, “Gurudware wale toh aatanki dikhte the ma’am ko.”

An angry user shared screenshots of Kangana’s old tweets in which she had called Sikh farmers ‘Terrorists’ who were protesting against the new farm laws imposed by the government. The user wrote, “Jinne marzi mathe tek lwe apne pappa to pisha ni shuda sakdi (Bow down and pray wherever you want but you can’t get rid of your sins).

Speaking of her visit to Bangla Sahib, Kangana said, “We are here to pray for the success of our show. We want the blessings of Bangla Sahib so that we get success and the love of people.”

Lock Upp will start streaming from 27 Feb on Alt Balaji and MX Player. It will feature 16 controversial Indian celebrities locked up by Kangana Ranaut in her jail.
