Karan Johar SLAMS Comedian, Kettan Singh For ‘Mimicking’ Him: ‘Poor Taste..’

Taking to his Instagram stories, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar bashed comedian Kettan Singh for mimicking him.

Expressing his discontent, Bollywood director Karan Johar revealed his disappointment after witnessing a comedian on a TV show mimic him in what he deemed as ‘poor taste’. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the filmmaker shared a statement, expressing his surprise at such behavior, especially from individuals within the film industry, rather than just from online trolls. Although Karan Johar refrained from mentioning the specific show or comedian, many social media users speculated that he was referring to Kettan Singh, who imitated him on the program “Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge”.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan wrote, “I was sitting and watching television with my mom…and saw a promo of a reality comedy show on a supposedly respectable channel… a comic was mimicking me in exceptionally poor taste…I expect this from trolls and faceless and nameless people but when your own industry can disrespect someone who has been in the business for over 25 years it speaks volumes about the times we live in…this doesn’t even anger me it just makes me sad!”
