Kangana Ranaut Slams Wikipedia For Posting Wrong Information About Her

Kangana Ranaut accuses Wikipedia of being "Totally Hijacked By Leftists" and criticizes the website for publishing false information about her.

Along with her acting skills, Kangana Ranaut is known for her fearless attitude. She is very active on social media, where she shows her finger not only on Bollywood but also on social media platforms. Ranaut has recently attacked Wikipedia, claiming that lefties have “completely overtaken” the online encyclopedia. She clarified that the details about her on the website were erroneous before making the most recent claims in a social media post on Thursday morning.

In her long note, and Instagram stories, Kangana criticizes the free encyclopedia and writes, “Wikipedia is totally hijacked by leftists, most of the information about me, like my birthday, my height, or my background, is totally wrong … no matter how much we try to rectify it’s warped again.”

In her post, she explained that her actual birth date, which falls on March 23, was recorded on Wikipedia as March 20. She added, “Anyway many radio channels, fans clubs, and well-wishers start to send birthday greetings on 20th March…. I don’t mind but honestly many are confused because Wikipedia says my birthday is on the 20th of March and I celebrate on the 23rd of March, my birthday is on the 23rd of March … please don’t go back to Wikipedia; it’s wrong and misleading information there.”

On the work front, Kangana recently finished shooting Chandramukhi 2 a Tamil-Hindi bilingual in which Raghava Lawrence also appears. The movie is a follow-up to Rajinikanth’s smash hit Chandramukhi from 2005, however, the star won’t be playing the same character.
