Kangana Ranaut, known for her dynamic roles and bold statements, has now made headlines yet again with a major decision regarding her upcoming directorial venture ‘Emergency’. In a recent update shared on her official social media account, the versatile actor announced the postponement of the “Emergency” date release, while also revealing the reason behind it.

Addressing her ardent followers and admirers, Kangana expressed her heartfelt emotions, stating, “Emergency is the culmination of my entire life’s learnings and earnings as an artist. It’s not just a film for me; it’s a test of my worth and character as an individual.” Grateful for the overwhelming response received for the initial teaser, she acknowledged the unwavering support and curiosity from her dedicated fan base.

Initially set for a November 24, 2023 release, the team has decided to reschedule the release to the upcoming year, 2024. Kangana assured her followers that the new release date would be unveiled soon and requested their patience and continued excitement for the film.

The teaser, released earlier in June, depicted a chaotic backdrop reflecting the era of emergency, with Kangana’s commanding voice as the iconic former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.

‘Emergency’, penned by the talented Ritesh Shah, also features an ensemble cast including industry veterans Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, the late Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
