Gaurav began his career in the Television industry with the Star Plus show ‘Sanjeevni’ (2002). He was then seen in ‘Risshton Ki Dor’. The actor’s breakthrough happened with the 2013 film ‘Ishkq In Paris’ alongside Preity Zinta. However, shortly after the film’s release, Gaurav moved to Delhi to take care of his sick mother.

When Gaurav returned to Mumbai, he brought his dream plan into action. Gaurav says that every girl becomes a victim of an uncomfortable gaze on a daily basis and the change would happen when the mindset is changed. Through the impactful ad film, Gaurav aims at inculcating an idea of a safe society for women. He adds, “The idea is to hit out at patriarchy and celebrate a different kind of masculinity; one that is progressive and empowering.”

The campaign has won 5 Zee Kyoorius Creative Awards and appreciation from Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Kubbra Sait.

Gaurav says that he always wanted to make content and tell impactful and fascinating stories. Talking about the art of filmmaking, the actor turned producer said, “Making a film is like making tea. When you make tea, you put in the same ingredients everybody, you make it with same efforts and love. But each time, the tea tastes different. Such is the filmmaking. Every work of yours turns out differently.”

When asked if he has given up his acting career completely, he said, “Once an actor, always an actor.”

Gaurav said that he would surely make his acting comeback in the future but his complete focus is on Lucifer Circus at the moment. A child needs more attention when he is a toddler. And Lucifer Circus being Gaurav’s beloved child, he plans to nourish him when its young.

Making an ad film is not a child’s play. One has to be impactful and creativity in 30 seconds. Gaurav admits, “It’s very difficult to make an impact and sell the product in just 30 sec.” But Gaurav has taken up the challenge and winning at it with beautiful and though provoking campaigns.
