Jawan marks the Bollywood directorial of Atlee and the film is already making records at the box office. The film has garnered over Rs 800 crore worldwide within 11 days of its release. Fans can’t get over Shah Rukh Khan’s dual role in the film. If you have watched the film, you would know that Atlee has left some scope for the sequel of the film. And now when Jawan is such a blockbuster and has made a special heart in the hearts of the audience, everyone’s wondering if there would be Jawan 2 in the near future!
Can we expect Jawan 2 soon?
The answer is yes! Fans can definitely expect Jawan 2 in the next few years. Director Atlee gave an interesting end to the film where the father-son duo is given the task of another mission.
Towards the climax, Sanjay Dutt had a special cameo in Jawan with some special twist. Sanjay Dutt’s history wasn’t touched upon in Jawan, which we might expect in Jawan 2. The relation between SRK and Sanjay Dutt’s character could be quite an interesting watch. Moreover, we can also expect a spin-off of Vikram Rathod. Director Atlee hinted the same in a recent interview.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee said, “Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day.”
He added, “Vikram Rathore for sure. Vikram Rathore is my hero. Maybe one day, I will make a spin-off of that. Let’s see.”
Jawan is an action thriller film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra.
