One of the greatest murder mysteries “Gupt” will clock 25 years in Bollywood. The movie released on 4th July 1997 was a super hit achieving the status of a cult classic. We have dug to bring this interesting news to you that a special screening of Gupt will be held in Mumbai on completing silver jubilee.
A celebration has to be there when such a significant movie completes a milestone. Fans will get a chance to feel the magic of the film and those who have watched it in the theater can again experience the glory on the big screen. Gupt: The Hidden Truth is a perfect blend of amazing script, impressive performances, and engaging soundscore. The film stars Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala, and Kajol in the leading roles.
A special screening of Gupt will be held on 9th July 2022 at Metro INOX Cinemas in South Mumbai. A popular radio station, Radio Nasha has taken the initiative to bring the movie again to the silver screen. Several actors, cast, and crew members of the movie will attend the special screening. Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala, Kajol, director Rajiv Rai, writer and production designer Shabbir Boxwala, music director Viju Shah, and more are said to be present at the event.
Shabbir Boxwala confirmed the news saying, “The way Radio Nasha is planning it, I am very thrilled. At the time of the release, we couldn’t enjoy the success, due to certain reasons. We can finally enjoy the film’s success now. I told the same thing to Rajiv as well, that let’s enjoy it now. God has given us a chance. All the actors are also excited for the screening, including Mukesh Rishi and Dalip Tahil. Unfortunately, some cast members are no more, like Om Puri. He was a vital part of the film. Even Ashok ji (cinematographer Ashok Mehta). I’ll miss him the most.”
