In Video! Fan Of Sunny Deol Dressed As Tara Singh Arrives At Theater Carrying Hand Pump To Watch ‘Gadar 2’

Fans' Enthusiasm Is Palpable, With Some Of Them Even Playing Dhool (Drums) In Their Excitement

The popularity of Sunny Deol is such that his fans celebrate his movies like festivals, and a recent incident outside a cinema hall in Mumbai exemplifies this trend. A diehard fan who came to watch ‘Gadar 2’ was dressed as Tara Singh and was even carrying an iconic hand pump and a hammer in his hand. He went so far as to climb up and offer a garland and milk to the movie poster, as seen in a video capturing the excitement. In the video, the fans’ enthusiasm is palpable, with some of them even playing dhool (drums) in their excitement.

Earlier, director Anil Sharma discussed various aspects of the film in an interview with Lehren, expressing both his excitement and concerns. One of his concerns revolves around the role of the Maharashtra government in supporting the film industry. When asked about the state support he received during the movie’s filming, Sharma acknowledged that various states provide help and subsidies to filmmakers. However, he openly requested the Maharashtra government to initiate a similar subsidy program.

Sharma’s sentiment was clearly conveyed in his statement: “I wish something similar could happen in Mumbai, like it does in smaller towns in Maharashtra, where you get almost everything you need, except for a little. Mumbai is perhaps so vast and unwieldy that it’s beyond anyone’s control, not even the government’s. Perhaps it’s beyond the government’s reach. But there’s one thing the government can do – start a subsidy program like other governments do.”

Regarding the movie itself, “Gadar 2” continues the storyline of Tara Singh and Sakina. The film also features Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur in lead roles. However, ‘Gadar 2’ has a clash with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 which is also a second installment of OMG which was released in 2012.
