Do you remember the cute girl who played young Pooja in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? The girl grabbed our attention with her ‘Chandu Ke Chacha’ dialogue in the film. In the second half of the film, her character took a glamorous transition which was played by Kareena Kapoor.
It’s been 20 years when the film came out and its scenes and dialogues are still afresh in our memories. Recently, we got in touch with actress Malvika Raaj, who played young Pooja (Kajol’s sister) in K3G. She opened up about working with Shahrukh and Kajol in Karan Johar’s directorial. She said, “They are humungous superstars and they never let me feel like a nobody. They treated me like I was one of them. They were so sweet to me. I really respect them and there’s so much to learn from them. Even after achieving so much in life, they are so grounded. And that’s how every actor should be.”
Malvika, who was just 8-9 years during the filming of K3G, didn’t get a chance to work with Hrithik Roshan. But now, when she is all grown up and has made her debut as a lead with action film ‘Squad’, she wants to share the screen with Hrithik. Malvika said, “Hrithik is my favourite actor. I think he is amazing. I would leave every movie to do a film with Hrithik.”
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a multi starrer family drama film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Alok Nath.
