As we all know, Shah Rukh Khan gave a special surprise to all his fans on his birthday by dropping Dunki’s first teaser. Within a few hours, it got tremendous views and mixed comments from netizens. The film is ready to serve the audience on December 22. But another movie starring another superhero from the Tollywood industry who also worked in Bollywood, Prabhas, is about to release during the same period. Prabhas’s ‘Salaar’ movie, which was going to release in the second half of 2022, got postponed to August 2023 and later on fixed a release date to December 22.
Earlier there were rumours that Dunki would shift its date to avoid a clash, but it didn’t happen. Now there is a major ongoing concern regarding whether Salaar will get postponed to avoid a clash with Dunki. But the makers of Salaar have put full stop to these rumours by confirming its release date as December 22 only.
Both films are now set to screen in theatres on the same date, giving special treats to the audience on Christmas vacation. Dunki gives a little humorous and thriller sense while Salaar is complete action.
Before this, the makers of Salaar had given a blockbuster like KGF. People just uplifted that movie like nothing else. It was indeed a hit film starring Yash. So, there are chances that Salaar will also make the audience crazy. Salaar’s teaser has created an aura for that film and has already received millions of views. The makers said that they will release its trailer by the end of November.
This year Shah Rukh has already made two 1000 crore films. ‘Pathaan’, released on January 25 this year, collected over 1000 crore at the box office. SRK’s other film, ‘Jawan’, released on 7 September this year has a box office collection of more than 1000 crore and the movie is also out for audiences on Netflix. Looking at the success SRK’s two films have, there are chances that Dunki will also touch the number of 1000 crore.
