Fashion designer Manish Malhotra recently hosted a grand Diwali party which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. And surprisingly the list also included B-town’s ex-lovebirds Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However soon after the two were spotted attending the same event, a photo from the event went viral claiming that the two celebs were seen hugging each other at the event.
Truth Behind “Aishwarya Rai-Salman Khan’s” Hugging Picture
For the unversed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a reddish-pink suit at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash. The woman in the viral photo hugging Salman Khan was seen wearing a similar color dress which fueled the speculations. However, it “wasn’t” Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Reportedly the viral picture was taken when Sooraj Pancholi’s sister Sana Pancholi was hugging Salman Khan. Sana wore a similar colored outfit resembling Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s. Furthermore, it is reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan already left the party when Salman Khan entered the event.
For the unversed, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dated each other back in the 90s. However, their relationship was short-lived. Back in the day, many reports surfaced that the Tiger 3 actor was violent and physically abused the actress during their relationship. Many reports also claimed that he once created a ruckus on sets of Aishwarya Rai’s film which caused her to be removed from the cast. Following the same the two had a messy breakup.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s massive blockbuster hit film PS-1 AND PS-2. Salman Khan, on the other hand, is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
