‘Salman khan’ and ‘Katrina Kaif’ starrer high octane action film ‘Tiger 3’ is gliding well at the box office by grossing around a sum of Rs.236.43 crores Net in the Indian zone. However the collections stand much affected by the supremely hyped ‘ICC Cricket World Cup’, disrupting the action genre creation from entering the Rs. 300 crores club (Net India) till now. According to eminent film trade analysts and cinematic experts ‘Yash Raj Films’ should have preponed Tiger-3’s release by two days in turn releasing it on the 10th of November (Friday) skipping its original date of debut at cinema halls- November-12th. The two bonus days of last weekend ie. (Friday- November 10th) and (Saturday- November 11th) could have combinedly escalated the film’s collection by approximately Rs.100 crores ( 50cr + 50cr each). By sticking to this movie release model the ‘Spy Universe’ thriller would have minted more money shattering and bombing all records this Diwali.
Helmed by the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and ‘Fan’ fame director ‘Maneesh Sharma’ the 3rd part of ‘Tiger Franchise’ also stars Bollywood’s Baddie ‘Emraan Hasmhi’ in a villainous role. The ‘Sal-Kat’ starrer additionally features member Supertars form the ‘Spy Universe Series’- ‘Shah Rukh Khan’ (Pathaan) and ‘Hrithik Roshan’ (war) in Charismatic Cameos. Tiger 3 also marks ‘Salman Khan’ and ‘Arijit Singh’s’ 1st collaboration post their fall out, with chartbuster tracks ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’ and ‘Ruaan’.
On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen teaming up with ‘SRK’ for YRF’s ‘Pathaan’ and is rapidly shooting for his TRP topper T.V Show- ‘Bigg Boss’ season 17. While Katrina Kaif is all gearing up for the psychological thriller: ‘Merry Christmas’ co-starring the south sensation ‘Vijay Sethupathi’ slated for a January 2024 release.
