Confirmed! Ranveer Singh To Play Ranbir Kapoor’s Father In Brahmastra 2

Ever since the release of Brahmastra Part 1, reports and rumors have been circulating on the internet that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will be seen in the sequel of the film playing the role of Dev, Shiva’s father. Following the same reports have resurfaced claiming and confirming that Ranveer Singh has finally given his approval to the role and now will be seen the role of Dev in Brahmastra 2.

A source told News18, that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been finalized to play the role of Dev and has signed up for the role. The source also revealed that the scripting of the second part of the film is still in progress however Brahmastra 2 is expected to hit the theatres in 2025.

The source further revealed that Ranveer Singh will be gearing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra in mid-2024. Following the same Ranveer will later shoot for Farhan Akhtar’s film, Don 3, and then Brahmastra 2.

If all goes well, then this will be the first time that Deepika-Ranveer and Alia-Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen together. Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of Ranbir’s mother Amrita, and Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Dev, Ranbir’s father.
