Chunky Panday Speaks on Ananya Panday’s Statement Of Him Never Featuring in a Dharma Film

Recently, in Rajeev Masand’s roundtable, Ananya Pandey’s one statement pulled her into a meme fest. Chunky Panday has finally cleared the air by speaking on Ananya’s statement of him never been in Dharma films or on Koffee with Karan.

Ananya Panday who made her debut in Bollywood last year with Student Of The Year went on to win over the hearts of the audiences with her second film, Pati Patni Aur Woh. While Student Of The Year performed average at the Box Office, Pati Patni Aur Woh went on to become a Blockbuster Hit.

But recently, Ananya Panday is into the limelight not because of any of her movies but because of a recent statement she made at Rajeev Masand’s roundtable for newcomers. Ananya was questioned about nepotism in Bollywood and her answer to this question became a meme material. She said that even after being a star kid she has struggled to find her way into Bollywood, it was difficult for her as her father Chunky Panday has never been in Dharma Film or went on Koffee With Karan. This statement of hers seemed overrated to many and burn to that was Siddharth Chaturvedi’s sarcastic reply.

In a recent award ceremony, Chunky Panday was asked whether he is unhappy with the statement his daughter made. To which the Houseful 4 actor replied that he likes coffee a lot. He further added that he will definitely go on Koffee with Karan whenever Karan calls him. And no, he is not at all upset. He is very happy that Karan has taken his daughter in his film.

Talking about Chunky Panay, the actor will be portraying a comical character in a Marathi movie titled, Vikun Taak.In a recent interview, he expressed his love for Marathi language and also said that he hopes he wins awards for this role. Also to note, Chunky will also be seen along with Saif Ali Khan in his upcoming movie Jawaani Jaaneman.

On the work front, Ananya Panday will be next seen in Khaali Peeli opposite Ishaan Khatter. She will also be working along with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in a yet to be titled film.
