Khushi Kapoor is stepping into Bollywood making her acting debut with Archies. Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s youngest daughter is all set to make big in films. Father Boney Kapoor who is gearing up for the release of Mili spoke about Khushi’s first film Archies.
The movie is a musical drama set in the 1960s directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film introduces six new faces, besides Khushi, it also stars Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina. ‘The Archies’, is produced under the banner of Tiger Baby Films. It is expected to release in 2023.
Boney Kapoor’s youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor pulls up her socks for Bollywood after Janhvi Kapoor. He spoke about the teaser of Archies and mentioned there was nothing to criticise but discussed good points. The producer revealed that he does same for Janhvi films too.
In a new interview with News18, Boney Kapoor said, “When the teaser came out which Zoya refers to as a ‘sizzler’, all three of us (Jahnvi Kapoor, Khushi and him) again sat down and we enjoyed watching it. There was nothing to criticise as it was amazing and we discussed the good points as those were the only things I could see. The same happens when I see Janhvi’s films.”
Khushi who has been in the media often despite any films to her credit will soon make a big debut with Zoya Akhtar. Archies is an official adaptation of a famous comic story. It is to see how the well-known comic will be brought to life in a film. Ever since the movie was announced people are eager to witness the classic comic tale in an Indian setting.
Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated for the first time for their new film Mili. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen. The Hindi version also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. Mili is a survival thriller helmed by Mathukutty Xavier and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
