Father-daughter duo Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor collaborated for the first for a movie. The latter will appear in and as Mili in her upcoming poject. Producer Boney Kapoor unveiled the first look poster of Janhvi Kapoor in Mili.
Janhvi is introduced as Mili a 24-year-old B.Sc Nursing graduate in the first look poster. She looked like a jolly girl caring a brown sack. Sharing the poster, Boney wrote, “IN ONE HOUR HER LIFE WILL CHANGE! #mili.” In the next poster, Janhvi looked pale standing in a cold place freezing to survive. The poster read Frozen but not shaken. After sharing posters of Mili, the teaser of the film was also released.
In the teaser we see Mili stuck in a freezer struggling to survive and trying to find a way out. Seemingly Janhvi is out in the game to challenge herself will different roles. In this survival thriller, the 25-year-old actress will essay the role of a nurse who is dying to survive in a freezer.
For the unversed, Mili is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen. The Hindi version also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. Mili is a survival thriller helmed by Mathukutty Xavier and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
Earlier Anna Ben reacted to the remake of Helen for which she received Kerala State Film Award. She said, “I am very excited for Mili because Mathukutty has directed the film in Hindi as well. Talking about Janhvi she said, “I have heard all wonderful things about her and how the movie has turned out, from the people on the sets. I know she will be brilliant in the film, can’t wait to watch her.”
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s Good Luck Jerry. Next in the pipeline, she has Bawaal and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. In Bawaal she is paired opposite Varun Dhawan while in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi she will feature alongside Rajkumar Rao.
