Popular football player David Beckham recently arrived in India as a part of his tour as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and attended the ICC World Cup match. The football player was seen in Mumbai attending the semi-final match between India and New Zealand. During his visit, the footballer was seen meeting and greeting many Bollywood celebs.
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja hosted a grand welcome party for David Beckham. Sharing some pictures with David Beckham Sonam took to her Instagram and wrote, “It was such a pleasure showing you a small taste of India @davidbeckham. Hope you loved India as much as India loves you ! Thank you to my team that’s helped me put it together”.
Actor Arjun Kapoor also attended Sonam Kapoor’s party for David Beckham alongside Malaika Arora. Sharing pictures on Instagram he wrote a long note expressing his excitement and his dream to meet the footballer.
Sonam Kapoor’s brother Harsh Vardhan Kapoor also shared pictures with David Beckham for the party.
Farhan Akhtar and his wife Shibani also attended Sonam Kapoor’s hosted party. The duo took to their Instagram and shared pictures of their conversation with the footballer.
Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput were also one of the guests at Sonam Kapoor’s welcome party for David Beckham. Taking to Instagram Shahid Kapoor shared pictures with the footballer and wrote, “When me and the wife both met our teenage crush @davidbeckham”.
Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan also met David Beckham at the Meta office in Mumbai.
Apart from the B-town celebs the Ambanis also hosted also welcomed David Beckham at their residence Antilla on Thursday. The footballer was accompanied by Mukesh Ambani his wife Nita Ambani, with their children Isha, and Akash Ambani alongside Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant.
