Bade Miyan Chote Miyan VS Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 3: Films See Slight Growth

11 April, Eid, marked the release of two much-awaited and highly-anticipated Bollywood films, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and “Maidaan”. While Akshay Kumar starrer “BMCM” received mixed responses from moviegoers, Ajay Devgn starrer “Maidaan” on the other hand opened up to positive reviews from the public and critics. Following the reviews, both films took an average start at the box office.

As per Sacnilk, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” earned approx. ₹ 15.65 Cr on its opening day. While the first-day earnings were relatively strong, the film’s box office debut fell short of expectations, especially considering its release during Eid. The film witnessed a huge drop on Friday earning ₹ 7.6 Cr.

Following the drop in the earnings the film saw slight growth on Saturday. The action-thriller earned ₹ 8.5 Cr on Saturday. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 31.75 Cr and a worldwide total of approx. ₹55.14 crores.

Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 3

Despite the prime Eid holiday release and positive reviews, the box office performance of Ajay Devgn starrer “Maidaan” on its first day fell short of fans’ expectations. Despite releasing on Eid, the film secured a box office opening worth Rs 7.10 crore. The sports drama witnessed a huge drop on Friday.

As per Sacnilk, seeing a huge drop the film earned approx. ₹ 2.75 Cr on Friday. However, the sports-drama witnessed growth on Saturday earning ₹ 5.75 Cr. Starring Ajay Devgn, the biographical sports-drama, Maidaan now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 15.60 Cr.

If all goes well then Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” can cross the 60cr mark globally, while Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan can cross the 20cr mark domestically by the end of Sunday.
