Article 370 Box Office Collection Day 3: Film Sees HUGE Growth

Yami Gautam starrer Bollywood political drama, Article 370 witnessed impressive growth during the weekend at the box office.

Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the much-anticipated Bollywood mystery adventure film, “Article 370” was released in theatres on 23 February. Starring Yami Gautam in the lead role the film opened up to positive reviews from both the audience and the critics. After taking a decent start at the box office, the film witnessed huge growth and impressive earnings during the weekend.

As per Sacnilk.com, Yami Gautam starrer Bollywood film, Article 370 earned approx. ₹ 5.75 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. After securing a decent opening the political drama witnessed massive growth during the weekend.

Article 370 earned ₹ 7.4 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 9.50 Cr on Sunday. Article 370 currently stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 22.80 Cr. Comparatively, Article 370 has overshadowed Vidyut Jammwal starrer “Crakk”, which is currently struggling at the box office.

The film offers a cinematic exploration of the historical background surrounding the revocation of Article 370. Yami Gautam takes on the role of Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer dealing with personal loss, who emerges as the central character. Assigned to a crucial mission in Kashmir, she is entrusted with leading an operation amidst the backdrop of the abrogation. It depicts a mission assigned to Yami Gautam’s character by Priyamani, who portrays Rajeshwari Swaminathan. The objective is to achieve the revocation of Article 370 without resorting to violence.
