Arbaaz Khan Reacts To Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan

2023 is the year for Pathaan and the start of the year became a blockbuster starring Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan’s success was anticipated by many factors, most notably the Bollywood renaissance. Grossing over Rs 1000 crores, Siddharth Anand’s direction has raised the bar for directors and producers. Arbaaz Khan, actor, director, and producer also shares his take on Pathaan’s success, calling it a “necessary breath of fresh air”. While interacting with DNA for their ongoing chat show, The Invincible Series, Arbaaz spoke about the first blockbuster of 2023, adding,

“Yeh, bahut zaroori tha, and iski timing bahut perfect thi (That was important and it was closed of the time perfect). He continues: “More so for Shah Rukh (Khan), for everything he and his family have been through in the last two years, I think this was revenge for the poor man.”

Arbaaz Khan takes a closer look at Pathaan and says that since the film was good, everything fits perfectly. “It was an entertaining and well-deserved film and Shah Rukh was the best in it. It’s also good for the industry. Unko nahi padi hai kiske baare mein kuch bol rahe ho. Because aap allow karenge toh log ayegnge. Woh alag baat ki aap theatres ko todenge toh koi jaan khatre mein dal ke nahi jayega. (They are not concerned with controversies. If you will allow a smooth release, they will come. If you create distress or vandalize theatres, then they won’t risk their lives for it). But if you genuinely want to know whether they will boycott it, they won’t.”
